19 of the Russian's twenty-one championships have been achieved on hard courts
A revitalized Daniil Medvedev won his maiden title for over two years with victory over Frenchman Moutet in the competition championship match.
The Russian, a former top-ranked player, has endured a challenging year, achieving just one win at the major tournaments and suffering a setback at the US Open.
The player's varied form on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his service game in particular - caused him falling of the elite rankings and finally separating with former trainer Gilles Cervara.
Currently training with his coach and his other coach, the tennis star has gradually advanced in the last few weeks - peaking in a hard-fought three-set win over opponent Moutet.
This represents his first title following the Italian tournament and first on a hard surface after spring of 2023.
The win also signifies Medvedev has secured 21 titles at 21 different competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I have attended a event with my both daughters at once, so to secure a trophy is really nice," said ranked player the champion.
"This championship is in tribute of my child Victoria, because the first title I got when my child Alisa was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had been defeated in his previous six championship matches, featuring in Halle in the past months.
Medvedev's retrieving strategy and frequent reactions on court had led some to question if his ability to perform at the top level was concluded.
Yet the athlete has altered his approach in the past month, making an effort to come to the net and perform positively, supported by an better serving game.
He fought back from a disadvantage in the initial set against the difficult Frenchman, securing four of the concluding five points to take the lead.
The competitors traded break points in the second set before the Frenchman, bidding for his maiden ATP Tour title, gained dominance to push for a third set.
Moutet rescued four initial break points in a competitive deciding set before the champion won the break to that score to secure the win.
Suitably, Medvedev earned the title with a rally at the net, with the Frenchman unable to manage a return after over two and a half hours.
